LISTEN TO THE TEAMS RADIO COMMUNICATIONS!

Our team uses various forms of communication during investigations. One of the ways we communicate is through an app on our cell phones. this app is called "Zello". It is a walkie talkie style app and works through the cell phones data connection. Therefore, as along as the cell phone has data connectivity, the phones will be able to communicate with each other regardless of how far away the phones are from each other. This helps to eliminate the issue of losing range with two way radios.

The primary channel we use for investigations on the Zello app is titled "KSPI 1 - PUBLIC". This channel is open to the public to listen in to. If you want to listen to our communications while we investigate, download the Zello app, and under "find a channel" type in "KSPI 1 - PUBLIC". Once you see the channel, add it to your channels. You should then be able to connect to the channel and listen in to us while we investigate.
